This presentation describes how to successfully start Student Based Organizations (HOSA, Skills USA) and connect them to middle school feeder programs. Student Based Organizations are a successful component to our comprehensive middle school outreach program in the Palm Springs Unified School District. Participants will learn strategies regarding student mentoring, club meetings and activities, fund-raising, parent meetings, and establishing student competitions.
