Presentation Description: 
This presentation will cover all aspects of starting up and maintaining a thriving Mentorship Program for ALL 10th grade and 11th grade academy students. Attendees will hear about a model program that currently has 45 mentors participating with 11th grade students matched one-on-one to mentor and 10th graders matched in small groups. Attention will be given to how to recruit mentors, how to train/orient them, how to prepare students for a mentorship, how to manage the meetings, topic & activity ideas for meetings, how to do follow-up, and more. All attendees will receive access to tried and true sample materials including a Mentor Handbook, Student Handbook, PowerPoint Orientations, handouts, email correspondence templates for follow up, and much more.
